Who Doesn’t Love South Indian Food? Here Is The Twist In Uttapam. They Are Protein Rich! 


100 Gm -  Suji/ Semolina

1 scoop- Unflavoured Whey Protein/ soy Protein/ Or 50 Gms Soya chunk Powder

½ Bowl- Curd ( dahi)

1 ½ bowl- 50-60 gms- Chopped vegetables(onion, capsicum and tomato)

Salt for taste, water as required

A pinch of Fruit Salt

Oil For Greasing


  1. Soak the suji in Dahi/curd for 15/20 minutes. Semolina is puffed now, add water to adjust consistency.
  2. Now add salt and protein to it. Again, add water if required. I have added around 1 bowl of water.
  3. Take a pan, grease with the oil. In batter lastly add chopped veggies and fruit salt. Mix thoroughly and make pancakes from the batter.
  4. Cook from both sides and serve with coconut chutney. They are delicious.
