How Do I Lose Weight Through Diet Only?

Diet Defines Quantity But Training Defines Quality.

In simple words, if your target is to just lose weight then you will be able to do it through diet only. Just take my example.

I lost 30 kgs. (from 95 to 65)- Check the image.

I did my transformation with diet and training. but instead, I would have just done diet only then also I could have lost 30 kgs. Then what would be the difference? Well, if I would have just dieted then would not have abs and a good physique. So, as I said-” diet defines quantity and training defined quality”.

But people who want to do the only diet or don’t have time to do exercise can follow this rule.

Now General Guidelines For The Diet:

  1. Learn And Track Calorie Counting

The best way to lose weight is to lean calorie counting. Millions of people have lost weight in this way. you can use Myfitnesspal application to count and track calories.

  1. Starting Point

Start with 2000 calories. since you not training, I am presuming that your activity level would be low. So, 2000 calories is a good starting point.

  1. Measure Your Weight Every Day

Use a digital scale and measure your weight every day. The ideal time to measure your weight is in the morning after going washroom. This will prevent errors significantly.

  1. Follow 2000 Calories For 7 To 10 Days

After 7 to 10 days see the change in your body weight. If you lost 500 to 700 grams. Good job by this pace you will be able to lose 26 kg in a year 52 weeks*0.5 kg=26 kg. If you didn't lose any weight that means 2000 is your maintenance. now come down to 1800 calories. Again, wait for 7 to 10 days.

  1. Keep Following This Loop As Long As You Want

Whenever you stuck in weight loss, reduce calories by 200 to 250. or increase your activity levels by walking or playing with your pet.
