1 tsp- Ghee ( around 5 gm)
1 tsp Spices- cumin seeds, Clove, bay leaf, Chilli powder, turmeric, cumin-coriander powder
1 Tbsp- garlic chili paste, salt to taste
100 Gms Dry peas- soaked overnight- boiled
1 cup- 100 Gms basmati rice, soaked 30 minutes
Onion- 1 Medium- 50 Gms
Step1. Firstly, in a cooker heat ghee and add cumin seeds. Then add cloves, bay leaf, and other spices. Sauté till they turn aromatic. Then add onions and saute till they turn translucent. Add chili garlic paste.
Step2.Add dry boiled Matar(peas) and sauté well. Then add basmati rice soaked for at least 30 minutes and saute gently. Add water. Additionally, add salt and other spices to taste and mix well. Pressure cook for 1 whistle on medium flame. Gently stir and finally, serve dry peas pulao with raita.
